December 18, 2012 Meeting Highlights


Public Hearing for the 2013 Budget and Appropriation Ordinance
The Glen Ellyn Park District held a public hearing for the 2013 Budget and Appropriation Ordinance.

Dog Park Advertisement
The Board of Commissioners approved the contact between the Glen Ellyn Park District and Poo Free Parks for installation, supply, and upkeep of the dog waste dispensers for the Glen Ellyn Park District, at Spring Avenue Dog Park and Lake Foxcroft Park for a period of 3 years.

Approval of the 2013 Budget and Appropriation Ordinance
The Board of Commissioners approved Ordinance 12-07 “A combined annual budget and appropriation ordinance for purposes of the Glen Ellyn Park District for the year beginning January 1, 2013 and ending December 31, 2013.”

2013 Baseball Uniform Bids
The Board of Commissioners reviewed the 2013 baseball uniform bids, and came to a consensus to place the uniform bids on the January 15th consent agenda.

Executive Director Contract
The Board of Commissioners approved the Executive Director contract for a term of 3 years beginning January, 2013 through December 31, 2015
