Election
of Officers
The Board of Commissioners held their annual
election of officers, and the results are as follows:
- President – Melissa Creech
- Vice President – Jay Kinzler
- Treasurer – Julia Nephew
- Dave Harris was appointed Executive Director for the Glen Ellyn Park District
- Katherine Wendland was appointed the Board Secretary for the Glen Ellyn Park District
- Dave Harris was appointed as the representative for Western DuPage Special Recreation Association
- The Board of Commissioners postponed the appointment of a law firm for the Glen Ellyn Park District until the May 15 Regular Board Meeting.
Leisure
Vision Presentation
Mr. Ron Vine from Leisure Vision addressed the
Board regarding the process the Park District will be going through to conduct
the attitude and interest survey.
Mr. Vine discussed with the Board their ideas
and question that the Board would like to see incorporated into the survey.
Employee
Classification Policy Change
Staff presented the Board of Commissioners with
the Employee Classification Policy Change, staff will make corrections to
policy after Board input and the final version of the policy will be placed on
the Consent Agenda for the May 15 Regular meeting.
